Set up in 1992, LALIT KALAKSHETRA is the pioneering institute of Art & Culture Education in the State of Tamil Nadu and has been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the Art & Culture Industry. The word ‘Lalit’ refers to Fine Arts; and ‘Kshetra’ refers to the place of learning the art, coining the 2 words begins the history and journey of ‘Lalit Kalakshetra’.

OUTREACH PROGRAMME - LALIT KALAKSHETRA ART & DANCE EDUCATION
A specially designed program that forms a part of the School’s /Colleges regular curriculum, Lalit kalakshetra art & dance education – Outreach Programme- reaches out to the children, empowering them through the visual arts /performing arts at the convenience of their school/college premises. Lalit kalakshetra art & dance education also designs the school/college annual day shows.
Students are taught the various aspects of art Shows, musical theatre and stage performance. They are empowered with technical knowledge, spatial awareness and performance guidelines. The complete visual and performing arts experience helps students overcome fear of creativity, stage fright, become more confident, learn to work in teams and feel a great sense of achievement.
